The 37th Kingswood Scouts Cadet Band is a non profit making, musical activity for young people.  

We are part of the Scouts, and are proud to be the 2011 British Youth Band Association Cadet Champions. Our members all aged between 8 and 14 years of age.

In existence since 1969, our current team of experienced/enthusiastic staff give their time freely to help coach in a variety of music and dance skills.

New members are always welcome, click on the red button to tell us if you know someone who would like to get involved.




  • Learning music/dance at school?

    Our programme will compliment what you are already learning at school


  • No previous experience?

    No matter what you have done before, even total novices are welcome and generally 'fit in' very quickly 


  • Can't afford an instrument?

    Don't worry - we'll take care of this for a very small monthly fee


  • Just want to have fun?

    Our busy schedule offers learning and performance opportunities throughout the year - is healthy, positive and helps to build self confidence
